Wayne County Department of Environment has initiated a toll-free hotline, providing access to a wide variety of environmental services 7 days a week.

During Business Hours
You will receive same-day follow up to your question or concern from staff.

After Business Hours
If your call is of an urgent nature, it will be promptly forwarded to our staff on-call. All other calls will be responded to on the next business day.

When To Call
The following issues are examples of environmental programs regulated by the Department of Environment: Odor and Air Quality Complaints, Drain maintenance, Landfill and Illegal Dumping Complaints

Note: If you witness an environmental crime taking place, first call your local police department!
