If Your Community Does Not Have a Drop-Off Site

If Your Community Doesn't Have A Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off Site

Contact your local officials and tell them you would like your community to start a household hazardous waste program. Enlist your neighbors! The more interested residents are in initiating a program, the more likely it will be started.

Drop your hazardous waste off to a company specializing in disposal. Check your phone book for the nearest location. (There will be a cost involved).

Store your hazardous material until your community gets a program or until you can pay to have the materials disposed of properly.
