Rouge River Watch

Rouge River Watch

Rouge River restoration and protection is going to require individuals and groups taking responsibility for protecting and restoring the Rouge River.

Rouge River Watch is an opportunity for interested individuals, Scouts or community groups to organize a group of volunteers to adopt a section of the Rouge River, a wetland or other type of waterbody within the Rouge River Watershed. Activities may include water quality sampling, biological monitoring or other field measurements, litter clean ups, annual Rouge Rescue coordination, or more frequent clean up events. This volunteer activity can be performed as an independent activity or as part of the Rouge Friendly Neighborhood program.
