| Project Description:The fundamental GIS capabilities necessary for planning and implementing programs required under the MDEQ General Permit for Storm Water Discharge were developed. The objectives of the project were to develop required data, and to procure the necessary hardware, software, training, and professional services to participate in watershed management planning and implementation. The system helps to identify and monitor on-site septic disposal conditions in the City. As a component to the detection process, education materials were created and mailed out as part of the public education activity. |

| Project/Report Summary :The project assists in illustrating various watershed management issues and program operations. The GIS will be effective in demonstrating the various relationships between the owner property parcels and the surrounding surface water characteristics. |
