Rainfall

Dry Weather Condition -- Tonquish Creek, Canton

Wet Weather Condition -- Tonquish Creek, Canton

Monitoring of rainfall amounts has been conducted throughout the Rouge River Watershed using a network of continuously recording gages. The data has been used to define wet weather responses and spatial variation, and to drive the hydrologic models of the watershed. Procedures have been established for maintaining the equipment, managing the data, and validating the accuracy of the data.  The annual Baseline Data Summary for the Rouge River Watershed reports include a section summarizing monthly precipitation data.  Each report also includes a map which shows the continuous precipitation monitoring locations.
